For the unversed, the incident that urged her to take action against the makers of the show happened on March 7. She had informed the makers earlier that she wanted a half day as it was her wedding anniversary and Holi and her daughter was really excited to celebrate the day with her. However, instead of letting her leave, project head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj threatened her. They proceeded to send her a notice on March 24 stating that “I left the shoot and they are losing money. This was ulta chor Kotwal ko Dante. They wanted to scare me.” She countered the notice by filing a case against them.
